I was a hobby farmer in the Fraser Valley where I raised chickens, foraged for turkey tail mushrooms, and pruned apple trees. I have an MFA in Creative Writing and I teach at a college and university in the Great Vancouver area.
I love editing and I a review and fiction editor at Radix Magazine. My stories have appeared in The British Columbia Review, Convivium, Still, Agape Review, Scintilla, Solum, Foreshadow my short story “Glass Jars” was shortlisted for the Mitchell Prize for Faith and Writing. When I’m not grading papers I am usually walking alongside an arm of the Chilliwack River or gardening.
